Business Studies: Economics and Entrepreneurship


There is more work needed than labour to do it.  There are more needs than goods to supply them.

Economics investigates in general how most efficiently to meet the needs.  An entrepreneur provides the work to meet particular needs effectively.

Using these two crucial intellectual activities, business makes life better.  If done rightly, it makes life better for everyone.

In our 'Beginning in Business: Economics and Entrepreneurship' major we shall start to gain some theoretical understanding of this and to examine ourselves for some specific skills we can use in the future.
