This
week in fashion, the students have extended their vocabulary through trends,
fabrics, trims, details, techniques and pattern cutting equipment. They will
now have clear understanding of the process which the fashion industry works
to, from colour palettes, mood boards, sample garments to the overall finished
collection being sold in store. They have worked together in a group, to
develop a trend, work on fashion illustration, and bring their ideas forward to
create an inspiring collection. From charity shopping, to deconstruction,
pattern cutting and sewing techniques, the students have worked together to
create a range inspired by ideas and trends, developed amongst themselves.
