The Ethics class this morning had an hilarious time trying to find some moral rules that everyone in the world would agree on. It is easy to find some generally agreed rules, but they need to be stated precisely.
It seems that we all know what 'right' and 'wrong' mean, but often disgree over what is right; but then again we do mostly agree on the moral rightness of some basic things. This means that we usually need to use a variety of ethical systems together when considering ethical decisions. We look at the major systems tomorrow.
