'The Manish Arora Collection'
By Javier Perez
In the Victoria and Albert Museum, Manish Arora, with his new collection, made, with lots of emphasis, a contrast between angels and futuristic creatures, but not so different as they may be.
In both categories, strange hair cuts and make up, with the mix of hot and cold colours were used and put to music, making the audience really concentrated.
The runway was divided into two: angels and aliens. In the first one, the models weren't showing any emotion, just like creatures of another world and they were flowing with the music like a carnival.
In the alien part of the show, the models had strong bold movements, with metallic clothes inspired by future times. This part was introduced with a sudden change in the music and the attitude of the models.
As fancy and creative, this collection made the audience who were watching the runway fall into another dimension.
