London!

Saturday Excursion
On Saturday students visited London, a city teeming with life at this time of year. One group visited the London Eye, from which our students could peer out over some of London's most iconic landmarks - the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the Shard, Buckingham Palace and the City. Thankfully the weather held, and we could see out to all four corners of London. Meanwhile another group was exploring London's Dungeons, giving students an educational but terrifying look at the capital's history.
Students then crossed to the north bank of the Thames and took in the paintings of the National Portrait Gallery, the world's first portrait gallery and home to world-famous depictions of William Shakespeare, Elizabeth I, Mark Twain (and of course Ed Sheeran). Finally, students were given time to explore the buzzing Covent Garden, soaking up some culture in one of London's most vibrant districts.
