The first week passed so fast that we didn't realize it. Everyday, students have done a lot of different activities which were all enjoyed.
Our subjects, I must say, are very different from the ones in school. Mostly, we were expecting boring lectures and a lot of work however we experienced something very different that exceeded our expectations.
Our teachers made the lessons very entertaining and most certainly enjoyable. English related subjects like Creative Writing and English Language Workshop with Marcel and Leo had nothing to do with grammar and rules, but instead speaking and listening which is very good practice of English. We also did lots of group work that helps us get to know each other.
Subjects that had a more scientific side to them, for example Practical Science with Clio, Digital Design with Ed, Film Making with Dan and Web Design with Nadine actually allowed us a lot of creativity and freedom and Fashion with Celina was amazing, as were the results! At the presentations, everyone marvelled at the things the students had produced.
The remaining lessons, not mentioned here were also great and although i have not participated in them, judging by the displays and the performances, they are a lot of fun.
I am sure I am speaking for everyone by saying a huge thank you to all our great teachers who have made this week a brilliant start to the course!
