We're looking at the history of theatre this week and have realised that theatre has always been a feature of human life...it's about people and how they interact. We've watched a DVD, played many fun games and read a clever play that was educational as well as entertaining. We learnt that the meaning of theatre depends upon who the audience is as well as the director's interpretation of a text.
We all realised that a play is a story and a play requires collaboration as well as imagination! We're probably going to stage the first scene from the play we've read as we think it will be amusing for the audience on Sunday!
