Greek Chorus

The drama class formed a greek chorus this week at Winchester by playing different theatre games and doing practical exercises on th stage in the QEII theatre or outside in the sunshine. They learnt and practised their choral skills through woking with a script, a poem and a myth. They chose to show two different examples of what they had been learning about for Sunday's presentations: 'The Myth of Prometheus' with Jacob as Zeus, Dma as Prometheus, Corina as a narrator and (comic) eagle and Galia and Yulia as the demons. As a totally female chorus, the girls performed 'When you're smiling' as they were inspired by watching a clip of Woody Allens' film, 'Mighty Aphrodite'. In the ancient Greek tradition, laurel wreaths go to you all!
