I wish you could see the Philosophy noticeboard for this week.  Week 3 students have developed so much by this stage that they are producing really good material.

Philosophy is a skill, rather than a bundle of knowledge or a subject that creates a production that can be seen or heard.  The board is designed to show others what philosophers do.  It is full of examples of philosophical argument drawn from the debates in class.

The arguments, analyses and responses on the board are expressed in the English, and the academic style, suitable to professional philosophical writing, which is a great achievement.
