Week 4...and the fun continues!

Our numbers may have dropped, but the energy and enthusiasm of everyone here certainly hasn't!

Our select few are seated in the grand dining hall having an English Tea Party, and it couldn't be more appropriate as the rain comes down in torrents outside. They are all chatting and mingling; everyone is feeling positive and making new friends and the week ahead feels full of possibility and excitement.

Our incredible AL team is pouring tea, teaching the students how to dunk biscuits with finesse and encouraging conversation for the shyer members of our little community. This evening we have an new activity for them that everyone is really looking forward to and tomorrow lessons start and then we have a magician coming to teach the students some of his secrets. On Wednesday, we are off to a real-life rainforest, on Thursday we are going to have a night of music and cultural exchange with another summer school group and on Friday we will be opening our doors to the 'High Achiever' group from Radley. Phew! That isn't even counting the new skills they will learn in class, the English they will learn, the friends they will make and the afternoon multi activities they will do.

Watch this space for lots of pictures and updates about this week!
