Yesterday all students went to the Winchester Science Centre this week
for a morning of practical science. The centre is
full of hands-on science activities; students especially enjoyed brain wave sensing competitions, sprinting
and reaction time tests, and using oscillations to draw patterns. We had a live guided introduction to the
stars and constellations of the night sky in the digital planetarium, which is
one of the largest in Europe. The
speaker was very knowledgeable and at the same time humorous, so a lot was learnt. It was even sunny when we
got outside!
