Thesps and Tests: Drama and IELTS
Students in the drama major have been exploring drama from its earliest origins. Yesterday saw rehearsals for Sunday's presentation, which will take the audience on a historical journey from the Romans to the Elizabethan period. The students are re-enacting a scene from a medieval mystery play, and will also be showing how the Renaissance reintroduced audiences to the comedies and tragedies of the classical period.
Students in the advanced exam skills class have been dissecting English grammar in preparation for high level exams. Here they are preparing two minute discussions on topics ranging from consumer culture to environmental conservation.
